This is the best kept secret in West Carroll! So friendly and yummy! You go in to almost a buffet style line but there is someone on the other side making your plate as you make your selections (Think Luby's, kind of). When you are finished eating, if they haven't run out, they bring you out a slice of cake! Haven't been disappointed with anything I've had here and it's a place I'll happily eat at solo when passing through on business!

Cindy Yeeeys!! Ok, I know that was corny but I couldn't resist. This is a great place to do two things: enjoy great country cookin and revisit your past by running into people you knew and grew up with as a kid. *NOTE, the second one only works if you grew up here*.
I only come home once a year, so I need me some country cookin. I dominated the catfish and banana pudding. I will say this, the banana pudding is not like
ma'am-maw's (grandmother, if your a Yankee) use to make it. However, she's dead so this is as good as it gets...which is still pretty good.
Give this place a try. If you're in need of some country food, you will not be disappointed. -

I always enjoy eating here for southern home-cooking style comfort foods. Options are different every day, but a few things are always available, including: fried chicken, sweet potatoes, and turnip greens. Drinks are fresh iced sweet/unsweetened tea or sodas.
